Associate Academic Officer (PSA) (UNU-EHS)
Under the responsibility of the Vice-Rector in Europe/Director of UNU-EHS, the 2011 MRF Chairholder on Social Vulnerability and within the approved academic programme of UNU-EHS (Social Vulnerability and Environmental Migration Section), the successful candidate shall implement the following tasks:
Support the Chairholders in the design and implementation of their work plans
Coordinate and where appropriate co-author publications with the Chairholders
Source project opportunities (including proposal writing) relevant to the activities of the MRF Chairholders and complementary to the UNU-EHS goals
Collaborate on social vulnerability, social resilience and global environmental change issues.

Junior Programmer (PSA, part time) (UNW-DPC)
Under the authority of the Director of UNW-DPC and the supervision of the IT Developer and a Programme Officer, the successful candidate shall be entrusted with the following tasks:
Support the IT developer on development of UNW-DPC’s information system for the given specifications
Design and implement regular software testing exercises with lead developer
Support the validation and verification of information available in the system
Properly document the testing progress (bugs, fixes) and also user testing of the information system
Document the programming code of the software system with lead developer
