SCRIPT Scholarships in Intellectual Property and Technology Law 2011/12 in UK
Awards will be based on a short paper (up to 1500 words including footnotes) on following topic:Critically assess an example of how technological innovation (eg. in medicine, IT, intellectual property, forensics) impacts on the law, and vice versa.
Your paper must be your own original work, and you should not have used it in any other context. It will be judged on its academic merit. At least two members of the academic staff will assess the paper independently (double blind), and in case of dispute will refer the paper to a third member/party.The first award is open to applicants from around the world. The second award is open specifically to assist students from developing countries. A developing country shall be considered any country classified as a low income economy by the World Bank.The two students who are selected will have the scholarship amount of 3,000 GBP deducted from their fees during the registration process if they are full-time. Students who are part-time starting in September 2010 over 2 years will have 1,500 GBP deducted from both year one and year two fees.
